| Abstract: | According to the definition of the "Umwandlungsmasse"="transformation mass" for the computation of the masses of star clusters from star counts and after its determination from an appropriate observational material the masses of 39 open star clusters and the mean velocities ot their stars are derived. Finally relations to escape velocities are discussed. |
