| Abstract: | The usefulness of Schmidt plates for measuring astrometric positions of extragalactic radio sources with an average uncertainty of less than 0.3 arcseconds is emphasized in the discussion of the results on 50 optical counterparts and by the comparison with corresponding positions obtained through radio interferometry. |
