Why are there no abstracts given in the ARIBIB ?
The Astronomisches Rechen-Institut (ARI) received the majority of the abstracts for Astronomy and Astrophysics Abstracts (AAA) from the Institution of Electrical Engineers (IEE) and the Fachinformationszentrum Karlsruhe (FIZ). These abstracts were produced for the on-line database INSPEC, which is distributed against charges by IEE and STN/FIZ. It would be against the economic interests of IEE and FIZ, if the ARI would distribute these abstracts on-line free of charge.
For older literature you will find under Image: a link to a GIF-image of the corresponding page of the printed bibliographical publication where you probably may find more information.
