| Abstract: | We study the evolution of the limiting radii of star clusters moving on eccentric orbits. The evolution of four clusters with different relaxation times but otherwise identical parameters is followed. We determine whether a limiting radius exists in the density profile and compare its size to the peri and apogalactic tidal radii. Using these results, we draw some conclusions about the limiting radii of the Milky Way globular clusters. |
