| Abstract: | Approaches for extending the fundamental reference coordinate system to faint objects and extragalactic radio sources are discussed. A joint campaign of radio astrometry and photographic astrometry with large telescopes may contribute effectively to the solution of this problem. Data on the accuracy of different methods are given. |
